Years after overcoming an eating disorder, Kara DioGuardi says being in the spotlight on American Idol today has caused some of her past demons to resurface.

In a new interview, the newest judge on the Fox reality show reveals that she suffered from an eating disorder in her teens which caused her to obsessively overeat. “I had kind of a binge eating disorder where instead of dealing with my emotions, I would stuff them down with food. I never threw up or starved myself,” she tells Extra. “It was an eating disorder. I actually went into a treatment center for it.”

Can someone help he out with this?  Where is the disorder here?  I’m pretty sure what she describes is her being a gluttonous pig who liked to shove Twinkies and pizza into her face.  She was basically a kid training to be fat.  If something like this is considered a disorder then I had a disorder as a kid, too.  I actually masturbated everyday and sometimes more than once.  I’m so embarrassed  but I know now that I should have sought treatment for it.  It would have saved me from years of pain and almost going broke from buying all that moisturizer.
