In connection with Guide Dog Month, Paula Abdul presents legally blind American Idol contestant Scott MacIntyre with a guide dog.

This just underscores the wonderful benefit and capabilities dogs give us besides unconditional love.

So let me get this straight.  Paula Abdul gave a guide dog to a guy who has lived his entire life blind but was still able to perform choreographed dance routines on American Idol and who deals with obstacles on a daily basis that most of can’t even imagine.  That being said I would have to figure he is perfectly capable of knowing where to walk and where not to at this point.  And that is more than I can for Paula.  I actually think he should have gotten her a present instead.  I’ll have to let him know I saw extra large pill boxes on sale at Walgreens yesterday.

But since a stint last November (08) at Carlsbad, California’s La CostaResort and Spa, Abdul admits she’s come to terms with her dependency andis determined to stay sober.

Describing her withdrawal symptoms, Abdul tells Ladies’ Homes Journal “I was freezing cold, then sweating hot, then chattering and in so much pain. It was excruciating. But at my very core, I did not like existing the way I had been”.

I’m just glad that we will now get to see a sober Paula and will no longer be subjected to such torturous ramblings.  At least we now know why she loves every performance and is unable to say anything bad about the contestants.  Those painkillers must have been pretty strong to have her put that skreeching Adam Lambert through in audition wekk.  What a tool.

Paula Abdul Is Batshit Crazy

Paula Abdul was interviewed on Nightline and gave a few b.s. answers about her use of drug and alcohol…

“No, no, no, no, no. Will not take those drugs,” she said referring to prescription pain medications. “And you can check my medical records there is nothing like that. I was never on Oxycontin or Vicadin or anything like that. I was on nerve medicine and anti-inflammatories.”

McFadden asked about her behavior on her 2007 Bravo reality show, “Hey Paula,” saying, “There are so many times where you don’t look like you are really there. You’re eyes are closing, you’re head is falling back.”

“Because I’m falling asleep and a camera is on me,” Abdul explained. “I don’t have anything that is shameful. I don’t have anything to be embarrassed about that was not accurate documentation of my life.”

So let me get this straight.  They followed you around with a camera while you wore a mic and went about your daily business and that wasn’t an accurate documentation of your life?  Whose life was it then?  Oh, now I get it!  It must be that whole evil twin thing.  The real Paula was hit in the head and hid in a closet so evil Paula could experience the great fame of her sister.   And then to sabotage her public image because of the extra love and attention she received from being the ‘good child’, evil Paula faked being drunk and on drugs to have buy into this madness.  It all makes so much sense.  How could we have been so stupid as tho fall for this obvious trickery?  I feel so stupid as to have questioned your sanity.  From now on I will only think of you as retarded.  I’m so glad we cleared-up this whole misunderstanding.  I just hope we can be friends again some day.
